New Traditional Chinese Medicine Bath Menu to Pamper Hotel Guests

(MELBOURNE, 3 October, 2008) In celebration of Spring, Chuan Spa at The Langham, Melbourne will launch a new Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) bath menu which guests can enjoy without having to step foot outside of their room. The TCM Bath Menu allows guests to enjoy the ultimate mind and body indulgence, bringing the luxurious Chuan Spa directly into their rooms. The new TCM Bath Menu offers five different infusions each based on one of the five Wu Xing elements of TCM. The new TCM bath menu will be available from October 2008 for the price of $30.00 per guest.

Each bather will receive three dishes in their room - the first containing 30-50ml of premium carrier oils blended with the finest essential oils; the second holding deluxe bath salts and the third with the corresponding Chuan Spa private label moisturizer. The bath salts can either be used as an exfoliant, or added to the bath with the oils.

Bathers can select an infusion based on their preferred indulgence - to create the most sumptuous soak you could wish for. Choose from:

Looking to unwind and relax? Loosen your muscles and calm your soul with Lavendar, Sweet Orange, Rose and Vetiver.

Fire
Missing that extra little spark? Stimulate your senses and uplift your spirits with Grapefruit, Cedar Wood, Lemon, Cypress, Basil and Spikena.

Earth
In need of focus and direction? Let this bath of Chamomile, Lemon, Lime, Eucalyptus and Rosemary steady and refresh you.

Metal
Feeling stressed by your relentless daily routine? Let this special blend of Marjoram, Frankincense, Lime, Mandarin and Palma-rosa oils both revitalize and relieve your tired head and heart.

Water
Are you achy and stiff? Lower yourself into a soothing blend of Cedar Wood, Cypress, Clary Sage, Jasmine, Grapefruit and Sandlewood.
