The Langham, Melbourne & the Melbourne Recital Centre present a Masterclass with celebrated international pianist, Lang Lang
Currently a resident of New York, 28 year old Lang Lang is renowned internationally for his dynamism of his performances. He is constantly in demand in major cities throughout the world and was the first Chinese born pianist to be engaged by both the Berlin and Vienna Philharmonic Orchestras.
Lang Lang has performed for world leaders including The Queen of England, President Barack Obama and the President of his home country, Hu Jin Tao, and has also performed at the 2008 Beijing Olympics opening ceremony.
Lang Lang’s vision is to share his musical skills worldwide. He places particular emphasis on training the next generation of musicians and audiences by developing in them a deeper understanding and enjoyment of classical music.
Lang Lang will appear in Melbourne in his role as global ambassador for Langham Hotels International.
