The 75 minute facial, called Chuan Yu (Chinese for Jade), brings together both Eastern and Western principles, applying techniques inspired by Traditional Chinese Medicine with research from leading French beauty group, Thalgo. The therapeutic facial uses a range of cooling jade stones to stimulate and massage facial acupoints, complemented with a movement similar to gua sha* to relax the entire body.

Jade was a privileged accessory reserved for Chinese royalty, with the jade stones used to keep the faces of the royal court smooth and line-free. The precious stone was also valued for its stabilising effects and stimulation of qi (positive energy flow).
