We meet 7 years ago. Finally after 5 years Panos proposed on our 5 year anniversary in our apartment. It was truly an unforgettable moment and we were both so excited and happy.
As soon as we were engaged we couldn't wait to start planning our wedding day. We wanted it to be the most amazing wedding for us but most importantly wanted it to be a magical day shared with out family and friends.
When we were planning our wedding I don't think that either of us could have ever imagined how perfect the actual day turned out. So many of our family and friend have commented that it was the best wedding they have ever attended, saying that there was so much love and joy throughout the reception.
Our wedding day was June 4 2011, however our magical experience with The Langham started from when we first entered the hotel to view the venue soon after we were engaged.
As soon as we entered the doors of the Langham for the first time and saw the spectacular stair case we knew that the venue had the most charming feel and the 'wow' factor.
Other venues we had looked at just didn't compare and we booked the venue almost straight away.
Everything was made so easy for us which was important as we lead an extremely busy lifestyle. We enjoyed the menu tasting, trying the different meals and discussing options with the chef. The input and knowledge of the chef was extremely helpful and contributed to our amazing wedding.
The food on the night was as perfect as we had tasted at the menu tasting (which we were extremely surprised with as we had over 200 guests). The room looked so unbelievably stunning and we were overwhelmed with happiness when we walked in the reception to see our loved ones. Zayna helped us every step of the way planning our wedding and we really appreciated her patience and expertise. So many people commented on the run sheet of our wedding and having the 1st dance before anything else was great and having our family and friends join us for two subsequent dances really set the tone for our reception. It was one big celebration that everyone got involved with. Our wedding was a combination of Greek and Australia culture.
My bridesmaids and I stayed in the hotel the night before the wedding which added to the excitement and made sure we were all relaxed on the wedding day. The staff were wonderful and couldn't help us enough. A number of our family and friends stayed the night at the Langham on our wedding day and we really enjoyed having breakfast with them the next day in Melba. We upgraded our suite and it was the most beautiful room. We stayed the following night also and enjoyed having friends and family up in the room to talk about our wedding day.
We couldn't have hoped for a more prefect wedding day. The Langham was the most beautiful venue, the food just what we wanted and the staff were absolutely magnificent.

The lamb was spectacular and also the onion tart!
We would honestly recommend the Langham and we truly had the most unforgettable experience.
